A basic Hear Back system consists of a Hear Back Hub with 8 analogue inputs and personal Hear Back Mixers with 8 channels and a stereo input connected using standard CAT5E cables. A single Hub supplies signal and power to a maximum of eight Hear Back personal mixers. If eight mixes are not enough, the Hubs can be daisy-chained using the HearBus In and Out for virtually unlimited system size. The Hear Back Hub can accept analog input signals from audio mixers, auxiliary, matrix, monitor, and/or direct outputs.
The Hear Back Hub accepts eight analog audio signal from a mixing console. Auxiliary outputs, matrix outputs, mono outputs or any combination of mixing console outputs can be used. Input is to the Hear Back Hub is connected from the mixing console using a standard DA-88 cable. Setup of the Hear Back system is simple and straightforward.
It’s possible there is not an easier to use personal monitor mixer than the Hear Back Mixer. Each of the 8 input channels are controlled by a big knob for easy adjustment and channels 3 and 4 can be linked via a push button in the middle of the mixer. Hear Back Mixers also have two headphone outputs, a separate left and right output to send signal to a floor wedge, Built-in DSP Limiter and a Stereo AUX in to ad a click track or track for rehearsal. Hear Back Mixers can easily be mounted to a microphone stand using the MSA microphone stand adaptor.
